COOK Sialendoscopy

A minimally invasive treatment option for obstructive salivary gland diseases. Sialendoscopy, or salivary endoscopy, is a way to directly visualize stones and strictures by entering a gland with a micro endoscope. The procedure allows insertion of stone extractors and other interventional tools. This minimally invasive treatment option has the potential to save an otherwise healthy duct (tube that saliva flows through) by improving the flow of saliva without performing an invasive open surgery that may lead to complete loss of gland function. We rely on saliva to keep our mouth and teeth healthy as well as to provide the fluids necessary to swallow solid foods. Loss of saliva production can hinder our ability to maintain these natural digestive processes 2.

Kolenda Salivary Access Introducer set are intended for introduction of diagnostic or interventional devices in the submandibular salivary duct. Create an open working channel into the salivary duct by passing the sheath over the wire guide. The sheath is also designed to protect the ductal wall as you insert and remove procedural instruments.

NGage® Salivary Stone Extractor. Insert the NGage nitinol basket into the duct to remove salivary stones and fragments. The stone extractor works as both a basket and a grasper.

NCircle® Tipless Salivary Stone Extractor Insert the NCircle nitinol basket into the duct to remove salivary stones and fragments. The stone extractor has a tipless configuration that allows you to position the basket against the mucosal lining.

The Advance® Salivary Duct Balloon Catheter Set is intended for the dilation of lesions and strictures in the submandibular and parotid salivary ducts. Once you have created a working channel in the duct, insert the balloon catheter over a wire guide and use it alongside a sialendoscope to dilate at the stricture site under direct visualization.

Cook Sphere® Inflation Device During minimally invasive balloon dilation procedures, the Cook Sphere Inflation Device can be used to inflate the balloon with fluid, to monitor the pressure in the balloon during the procedure, and to deflate the balloon after dilation.

Salivary Access Dilator Set  Introduce a series of flexible dilators over the wire guide to expand the papilla and prepare the salivary duct for the introduction of procedural instruments.

SialoCath® Salivary Duct Catheter used to aid in the removal and treatment of salivary duct stones and other duct conditions through flushing and/or fluid irrigation of the salivary ducts.

Wire Guide access the salivary duct through the papilla.
